GIVING back to the society !!!

My Dear Souls,
Namaskar ;

Yesterday I went to an orphanage. I distributed lots of cloths to the children there. I spend time with the kids there . I played, talked, shared with them. And I promised them that I will be visiting them every month and will share something of me with them.

You must be wondering as why I am sharing this with you. There are two reasons for this !

1. Hrudayam commune’s second philosophy is “to give back to society” . Please start giving back to the less privileged of our planet. Give. Share. Spend. Talk. You all are already better humans which is the first doctrine of our commune . Now just move one step forward and help others. Give. Share . Spread. Talk.

2. The second reason is more unique , if I who is not on a continuous income since last 4 years and facing acute financial problems ; can share something of ME with them very regularly then you can definitely make a difference. YOU ALL, who are in much better placements of your life, can easily share much more with them.
Please help poor, needy and less privileged of our society . wherever you are , make your contribution to the world. This single act of your life will sooth your soul and you feel more connected to the GOD.

I am sure that you all will definitely do this and be sure that I will be feeling always happy for all of you.

Much Love, Light, Hugs, Blessings !
GOD bless you all.

NEW DAY ........!

My Dear Souls ,
Very Good Morning!

when we are in problems [ any - personal, professional, financial etc etc ] we usually carry the last day's burden to today !

And in the whole process we destroy our Today . GOD has not given this TODAY to worry about YESTERDAY;  but to move on , to think new avenues , to look into new dimensions .

So let us not start our day with the broken pieces of yesterday, as Bently said it rightly - it will destroy your wonderful today. Don’t worry about what you should have or could have done yesterday. Let the worries and the stress go.

Each morning that we wake up is the first day of our new beginning, our new life. Embrace it!

Life is all about accepting new challenges and moving on with new hopes ! And I am so sure of you all that you will be living a new life every DAY !

Have A Great Day ! GOD bless you all.

Much Love, Light, Hugs and Blessings !
yours always !

My Dear Souls;

GOD is one .

and here are some numbers :

world population : more than 7,021,836,029
world's major religions : more than 15
world's sub religions : more than 300
world's number of major languages : more than 100

BUT interestingly , even , each one of us prays in his/her languages , and sometimes [ most of the times indeed ] there is only silence . GOD understands the Prayer [ in any language and in no language at all ]

So , just forget everything and simply PRAY . It works !
GOD is there !

GOD bless you all
Much Love, Light, Hugs and Blessings !

My Dear Soul ;

Namaste !

Today I am in different mood. This is a mixed mood !  In fact yesterday Night I was thinking a world without war, crime, and all other bad things !

I was imagining a world full of humanity .

I was also thinking when I started Hrudayam commune with a dream in eyes. I think today it is more than 5 years , I am living with Hrudayam !

Many thoughts were shared , lived and they made an impact on many lives who are associated with Hrudayam. And I mean that my posts , my views , my ideas changed some mindsets for the betterment of their lives. An all this makes me happy as I see Hrudayam a big family . Let's share Happiness , peace, Love and friendship !

Lets live and make others live !

I think John Lenon's song " imagine " fulfills my dream !  here it is !

magine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace

You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one

and what else than this video of Emmanuel can share my dreams !

GOD Bless you all.

Much Love, Light,Hugs, Blessings !
always yours , in your Hrudayam [ heart ]

My Dear Friends ;

Gandhi said ," be the change you want to see in this world"  and herewe are here to bring the change .

BUT , The first action starts from self.

Lets work for the community development . lets focus on small issues in and around us. lets try to bring solidarity and peace among our fellow people.

I suggest , get associated with a genuine NGO around you and start GIVING BACK TO SOCIETY .

I also suggests the following :

For example we can arrange bi-weekly mobile medical trips to nearby villages , she can with the help of her medical fraternity friends arrange such trips, the pharmacy companies can give free medicine if demanded and thus one or two doctors can go on a routine free medical checkup of the old people, kids, woman in those place. similar acts can also be followed at other location of the members of this group.

start visiting the orphanages , old ages places and other places. give them love, time, and whatever you can.

make a routine of adding such visits to your plans . encourage your children to be the part of this humble service. for example , today my daughter is going to spend half day with the kids of a local orphanage. she and her friends will celebrate the independence day  there  !

What I am trying to say here is that GIVE BACK to Society either in cash, kind or humble service.

Thanks and warm regards to one and all.
Much love, Light , hugs and Blessings

My Dear Souls ;

Namaskar !

It happens to all of us . We get moved /motivated/ruined /guided by others.

These 'others' merely play any important role in our lives [ and even if they play an important role in our lives ] ; we shouldn't allow them to control our lives. Their suggestion may be welcomed but that's it.

Put a full stop.

In-fact , if I have liked you here to be my soul friend, it is because of YOU . Your own identity . [ I hardly see anyone's profile , i just go by your words and those words gives me the essence of YOU ]

So if you are controlled by someone else's thoughts and actions , its high time that you start living on your own terms of life.

After all it YOUR LIFE dear........! [ and very sadly you got only one life to live for ... :P ]

Live your life to the fullest .

BE helpful. Be Kind. Be supportive.

Let Love and friendship be your religion.

I am sure we all will enjoy a great time in heavens when we meet there because we all have lived a great life on our own .

Right dears. have a happy weekend and life.

GOD bless you.

Much Love, Light, Hugs and Blessings !

Always yours

let the grace within sustain us ...

ZEN STORY : Purpose of life

ZEN STORY : Purpose of life

A frustrated young man went to see the wise man in his village.
“I don’t know what to do with my life. How do I find my purpose?” the young man asked.
“Follow me,” said the old man.
Silently, they trudged together to a far away river where they found dozens of prospectors panning for gold.
“There are three types of prospectors here,” the sage said.
“What do you mean?” the young man inquired.
“There are those who strike gold straight away. Excited, they take their plunder, cash it in and live comfortably for the rest of their lives. Then there are those who pan for years. They know that there is gold here and they have seen others strike it rich, so they persist until they too find the gold that they’ve been searching for.”
“What about the third type?” asked the young man.
“They are the individuals who get frustrated that they haven’t found what they are looking for, so after a day, a week or a year or more, they give up, walk away and never find gold.”
Slightly confused, the young man asked, “What has this got to do with finding my purpose?”
“Aah yes, the age-old question.” the old man smiled and looked his companion in the eye. ”There are those in life who look for their purpose and seem to find it almost immediately. From a young age they have a clear sense of purpose and pursue their dreams with energy and enthusiasm. Some others have to look a bit harder, perhaps for many years, but if they persist and keep looking, they will find something to live for. Finally, there are those who want to know their purpose, but they become frustrated with the search and give up too soon, returning to a life of meaningless wandering.”
“Can everyone find their purpose?”
“Is there gold in the river?” the wise man responded.
“So, how do I find my own purpose?”
“Keep looking.”
“But how do I want to find it quicker?”
“Son, there are no guarantees that you will be able to find it quickly, the only guarantee is that if you give up and stop looking for it, you’ll never find it.”
The young man looked despondent, feeling that he had wasted his time with the old man.
He felt a reassuring hand on his shoulder, “I can sense your frustration, but let me assure you, if you can find your true calling in life, you will live with passion, make the world a better place, be richer than you could imagine and feel as though the very face of God Himself is smiling upon you. That may happen next week, next year or in the years ahead, but the search will be worth it and your life will never be the same again. So for now, your purpose is to find your purpose.”
“Oh, and there’s one other thing that I forgot to mention.”
“What’s that?”
“Just as those men and women need to get down to the river with a pan to find their gold, so we need to remain active to find our purposes, we don’t find it sitting around at home doing nothing.”
It was getting late, so the too men turned for home and began their long walk back to the village.
As they walked, the young man was deep in thought about what he had just learned, and the wise man smiled to himself, knowing that conversations like this were an important part of living his purpose.
Now, over to you.
Do you know your purpose for life?
Are you still looking?
Or have you given up?

Life Management tools : 10 Reasons to Forgive the Person You Hate the Most…!

My Dear Souls ;

And one fine night an angel said to me , “Forgive the person you hate the most.”
This was difficult: I mean it was not easy but in that moment, I surrendered and my ego crumbled.  Everything I learned since childhood came pouring through me.  I had no more excuses about why not to forgive this person.  Instead, I embraced several reasons to do just that.  I focused passionately on those reasons as I stretched my body and mind simultaneously…

So what were the reasons?  Let’s discuss…

1.  Forgiveness allows us to take responsibility for our own happiness.

Most of what we attract into our lives is a mere reflection of what is inside of us.  Our thoughts and actions create our exterior world.  The Law of Attraction teaches us that like attracts like, and we will never experience a happy ending at the end of an unhappy journey.  By holding onto anger and resentment (even in our subconscious mind), we are pre-paving our journey to be filled with anger and resentment.  The way we feel and the emotions we hold are what we use to create all of our future experiences.

2.  Forgiveness allows us to see everyone in our lives as a teacher.

Family members, spouses, friends, bosses, etc. – everyone is brought into our lives to teach us more about ourselves.  Thanking them for being a part of our journey and teaching us lessons that we now no longer need to learn is an incredible step in expanding our consciousness.

This same philosophy applies to our negative, failed relationships too.  Once you truly learn the lesson behind why a negative relationship came into your life, you will then no longer attract situations and future relationships that attempt to teach you the same lesson.  You get to graduate and grow so you no longer keep repeating the same unpleasant experience over and over again.

3.  Forgiveness helps us stop playing the victim card.

Adjusting your perspective to a place of forgiveness and gratitude allows you to no longer play the victim card.  Most of the time you are not a victim of anything other than your own vibration and level of attraction.  When you continue to blame someone else, you automatically give control of your life to someone else and thus set yourself up to be a lifelong victim.

4.  Forgiveness makes us aware that most people are doing the best they can.

Have compassion for where other people are in their lives.  It might not be where you are, but most people are doing the best they can at their particular level of awareness and understanding.

5.  Forgiveness embodies the concept of “what goes around comes around.

We are all human and we have all done “unthinkable” things.  And deep down, we all yearn for the same forgiveness.  When we release others from the penalties of their actions, we create a space where our own thoughtless actions against others can be forgiven as well.

6.  Forgiveness forces our own level of consciousness to expand.

The process of growth is continuous.  The moment we stop learning, searching for lessons and expanding our consciousness, the ego steps in and takes over.  We are always moving toward something greater, and forgiveness helps us get there faster by eliminating our ties to dead weight from our past.

7.  Forgiveness teaches us to keep our expectations tempered.

We should never be expecting anything from anyone.  When we do this, we give up our own power to decide.  We alone are the creator of our universe, and when we are connected to our own inner source, we no longer “need” anything from anyone.  It’s still nice to receive things from time to time, but we don’t need these things to move forward with our lives.

8.  Forgiveness teaches us to tone down our instincts for self-preservation.

Too often we injure one another simply because we are trying to protect ourselves (financially, emotionally, etc.), even when it’s at someone else’s expense.  We have all done it.  Becoming aware of this pattern allows us to stop needlessly injuring others for our own benefit.  And as you know, what goes around comes around…

9.  Forgiveness creates a space to let go and love.

Not everyone and every situation is meant to be a part of our lives forever.  Sometimes they are only there long enough to help us open the next chapter of our story.  Letting go creates space to let new people and experiences in.

In addition, we are all connected.  We have never met another person that we have not loved in some small way.  Sometimes we just don’t consciously know how to understand it and show it.  Simply put, forgiveness in and of itself is an act of letting go of our differences and connecting with our oneness and love for each other and the world we inhabit.

10.  Forgiveness is the best revenge.

A bit of sarcasm in this one, but it’s so true.  You can always seek revenge positively by creating a better future for yourself.  Because nothing annoys an adversary or negative force in your life more than seeing you smile after you have genuinely forgiven them and moved forward with your life.

Afterthoughts :::

In most walks of life, I think it’s fairly easy to say, “I forgive so-and-so.”  Deep down, though, the resentment and anger still lingers within us and in our subconscious minds, which then impacts our future experiences.

So i forgive everyone and I felt free.

Now it’s Your turn……

Who would you like to forgive?  Who would you regret not forgiving before you die?  Please share your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Much Love, Light, Hugs and Blessings !!!

Life Management Tools : 5 Ways to Avoid the Biggest Regrets of Dying

Death comes to all of us at some point.  Have you thought about how you would feel when the time comes for you to die?  Have you considered if you would have any regrets about how you led your life?

A palliative nurse who counseled dying patients in the final weeks of their lives took the liberty to record the most common regrets among them.  Many of her patient’s regrets were revealing statements like: wishing they didn’t work so hard, wishing they had the courage to express their feelings, and wishing they had stayed in touch with their friends.

I believe in learning from the experiences of others.  Having the insights of people who have lived to the end of their lives is strikingly helpful in living our best lives.  Rather than reiterate the details of their regrets, I’m going to share them briefly and provide suggestions on how we can ensure that these regrets don’t become our regrets on our deathbeds someday.  While we can’t change our past, we can change the present and the future.  How our lives pan out from here is dependent on what we do starting today.

Regret #1:

I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

Are you living the life you have always wanted for yourself?  Or are you simply living a life based on what others expect of you?
Many people today live their life around the expectations of others.  Among my friends, many of them often make decisions based on what their partners or what other people want, rather than because of what they want or believe.  Among my one-to-one coaching clients, they often complain about being trapped in careers they dislike because they chose careers which were deemed acceptable by their peers and family, rather than pursuing career paths that interested them.

I was raised in an oppressive manner by my parents and by my education system.  While I have never faulted anyone for such an upbringing because I believe my parents and teachers came from a place of good intention, I did grow up feeling repressed.  I would do things to conform to what others wanted for me, rather than doing things I wanted to do, and this made me very unhappy most of the time.

Being raised this way made me realize the importance of living a life true to myself.  When I was in my early 20s, I began to come into my own, steadily making decisions and acting in a way that was truer to who I was as an individual.  When I realized I was no longer in love with my corporate career, I quit and moved on to pursue my true passion to help others grow.  When I felt it was time to do what I love to do, I readily started my personal development business (which I continue to run today), by way of my blog Personal Excellence.  When I realized I had friendships which were no longer compatible with the person I had become, I immediately let them go rather than keep up a pretense.

How to avoid this:
Stand true to your beliefs.  If you face naysayers, listen to their feedback, but don’t sweat over it if you don’t agree with what they say.  Just as others have the right to express their views, you have your right not to regard them.  Remember that you don’t live your life to please.  As Winston Churchill puts it:  “You have enemies?  Good.  That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.”

Regret #2:

I wish I didn’t work so hard.

Our modern society is one which drowns itself in busy-work.  People are busier than ever, working twelve-hour workdays, and sometimes even longer.  Parents rarely have time for their kids, and instead relegate care-taking duties to daycares, nannies and grandparents.  People rarely have enough time for relationships or personal activities, often prioritizing their work ahead of everything else because it’s their livelihood.  For some, work forms the core part of their identity.

How to avoid this:
There’s no such thing as “not having enough time.”  It’s only a matter of what you set as your priorities.  If you don’t have enough time for your relationships, it means that you are not making them a priority.  If you missed your anniversary with your lover, it’s only because you deemed the anniversary as less important than whatever it is you had to do at that time.  If you consistently miss your gym classes, it’s only because you are not committed to staying in shape, even if you claim otherwise.

Everyone has the same amount of time every day, be it successful entrepreneurs like Bill Gates, financial moguls like Warren Buffet, top athletes like Serena Williams, or inspirational leaders like Oprah Winfrey.  It’s silly to think of yourself as not having enough time relative to others, because these go-getters are making productive leaps ahead every day even though they have the same amount of time at their disposal as you do.

Make a conscious choice on what you want to spend time on.  What do you value the most in life?  Are you spending your time in line with your priorities?  If you answer no to the latter question, it means there is a misalignment between your desires and your actions.

Regret #3:

I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

Is there someone you like?  Are you afraid to open your heart to him or her?  Have there been times when you closed your heart to love because you were afraid of what would happen if you opened yourself up to it?

You aren’t alone.  I have quite a few friends who are single, not because they are inadequate (in fact they are high achievers, great lookers in their own right, with great personalities to boot), but because they are closed off to love.  They repeatedly dismiss opportunities to meet new people and expand their social circles.  Whenever there is a guy or girl they take a fancy to, they choose not to act on their desires, instead finding one billion and one excuses why this person is not “the one” for them.

How to avoid this:
I believe it’s better to regret doing something than to regret doing nothing.  In fact, I rarely ever hear of people who regret acting on their desires, even if the outcome may not be what they were looking for.  On the contrary, I always hear about people who regret not doing something and who are now plagued with the question of “What if?”

If you are afraid of expressing your feelings, ask yourself, “What is there to lose?” or “What’s the worst that could happen?”  I believe in wearing your heart on your sleeve and being true to yourself, rather than hiding your feelings.  At worst, the person will reject you and you will realize that your feelings had been misdirected all along.

But wait, is that really a worst-case scenario?  Because now you will know the truth and be able to move on, rather than lingering around a one-sided romance.  On the other hand, if the person reveals similar feelings, you will then be on the way to building a budding romance.  Either way you will be grateful that you acted on your feelings rather than hiding behind a facade out of a mental fear of being rejected.

Regret #4:

I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Friendships are often put on the back burner relative to other things, such as one’s career, romantic relationships, financial goals, and personal agendas.
Why?  Because we tend to think friendships will stay afloat even when we do not give them due attention.  As such, many of us take our friends for granted, often pushing back social appointments in the name of work, cancelling on friends at the last minute, or simply not putting in the due effort to meet up with friends face to face.

How to avoid this:
Rather than wait for your friends to initiate a get together, why not take the first step?  Many of my social appointments and gatherings are often self-initiated.  My proactive behavior has encouraged my friends to reciprocate in terms of putting in more effort to build our friendships.  I don’t think there’s a need to wait on other people to meet up; it takes two hands to clap and you can always be the one to gets things moving.

As you reach out to friends, there will be people who do not reciprocate your efforts.  That’s okay.  Don’t take it to heart; sometimes people have different priorities and there’s no need to force a connection if it’s not working out.  Simply move on to the friends who are reciprocating your efforts.  You will build more authentic and fruitful connections this way.

Regret #5:
I wish that I had let myself be happier.

Are you deeply unhappy?  Are you always complaining about little things that go wrong?  Are you always harping on the things you don’t have or things you have missed out on, rather than appreciating the things you do have today and the things you have gained?

Too many people are deeply unhappy not because of their place in life, but because of their misperceptions about what it takes to be happy.  If anything, many of these unhappy people are highly affluent and privileged; they have a comfortable place to live, a stable job, a regular disposable income, a healthy social network, and a family to return home to.

It’s as John Galbraith mentioned in The Affluent Society : “Despite the increasing wealth of the society, people are not happier – in fact, they have become unhappier.”  Why?  Their unhappiness isn’t due to a lack of material wealth, but because they have flawed perceptions of what it takes to be happy.  They think happiness comes from material goods or financial wealth, when these things are simply means to live a better quality life, rather than vehicles of happiness itself.

How to avoid this:
Recognize that happiness is a choice.  Many people relegate their happiness to external factors.  They think they can only be happy if they achieve X, Y, and Z or if X, Y, and Z criteria is satisfied.
